As a Sustainability Consultant / Senior Consultant in our team will focus on the delivery of client engagements in relation to sustainability projects, by understanding objectives for clients and Deloitte, aligning your own work to objectives and setting personal priorities, teaming with others across businesses and borders and taking accountability for your own and the team’s results. In this role, you will build relationships and exercise your communication skills in order to positively influence your peers and other stakeholders. You will commit to personal learning and development by actively seeking opportunities for growth, you will share knowledge and experience with others, and act as a strong brand ambassador, embracing our purpose and values in order to put these into practice in your professional life.

During your tenure as a Sustainability Consultant / Senior Consultant, you will demonstrate and develop the ability to:

• Design and build Sustainable/ESG roadmap for clients and shape their sustainable governance and operating model
• Reporting and disclosure, using internationally recognized standards and guidelines, i.e. ESRS, GRI, TCFD, CDP, IIRC, Athex ESG Guide, ISO Standards, UN SDGs
• Support clients with Sustainable Finance regulatory developments, obligations, and alignment with the Business model, especially SFDR and EU Taxonomy, as well as PRI, MIFID, RRF
• Accelerate and support the transition to a Sustainable Value Chain by analyzing the whole value chain and implementing responsible practices
• Perform climate change risk assessment, scenario analysis and decarbonization pathways.
• Understand clients’ climate impact by measuring and analyzing their carbon footprint, including Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions
• Design ESG Transition Framework, including metrics and targets: set, define and develop initiatives to meet short- and long-term targets
• Work with the Deloitte sustainability services leader in and coordinating the sustainability program regarding our clients and go-to market activities and helping execute our strategy
• Plan and execute projects in order to deliver increased quality, nurture positive working relationships with clients as well as provide accurate reports and presentations by leveraging critical thinking, experience, and judgment
• Driving tangible, measurable improvements to enhance project progress
• Enhance our knowledge hub and tools across Deloitte internal team and participate in evolving Sustainability/ESG methodologies and best practices
• Working alongside others on all sustainability matters and industries as the team continues to grow

#WinningRequirements

• 2-5 years’ professional services experience within Sustainability and ESG, and knowledge of international standards, frameworks and relevant regulatory landscape
• University Degree / postgraduate qualification in Business Administration, Economics, Technical Studies (i.e. Environmental, Energy) or relevant with Sustainability, ESG, Bioeconomy and Sustainable or Quantitative Finance qualifications
• A Master’s degree level education in relevant fields will be considered as a plus
• Strong interest in Sustainability, ESG, Climate Change and Circular Economy Advisory (sustainable finance, sustainable strategy, sustainable/non-financial reporting)
• Experience in sustainability, ESG metrics and sustainability risk management will be considered an asset
• Keen to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, addressing risk issues in a dynamic, challenging environment
• Prior experience in leading/participating in a team will be considered a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in Greek and English including report drafting and delivering presentations
• Strong IT skills (Microsoft applications – PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Ability to maintain professionalism and always strive for high ethical standards
