Accounting Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities through timely preparation and reconciliation of financial data.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and tax-related filings.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve accounting records and filing systems.
• Accurately record, monitor, and analyze accounting data for internal reporting and decision-making purposes.
• Liaise effectively with suppliers and external partners regarding financial and accounting matters.
• Handle sensitive financial information with the highest level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year professional experience in an accounting or finance position.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
• Strong analytical thinking, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Professional attitude, reliability, and commitment to accuracy.
