Individual Counseling | Career Compass

Providing counseling assistance to students aims to help them gain self-awareness, acquire communication skills and adapt in the best way to academic life.

Students, receiving specialized counseling support, will realize their knowledge, abilities, skills, talents, interests and values.

Also final students and graduates will be provided Counseling guidance on career issues. The provision of advisory guidance on career issues concerns the systematic help and support of students and graduates that will be provided by specialized staff of the G.D., with the aim of their professional development.

The beneficiaries of Career Office through professional counseling they will be able to:

  • to develop professionally and to face problems or difficulties regarding the choice of profession and their integration into the labor market.
  • make educational and professional decisions more easily,
  • to plan and manage their career effectively,
  • to manage a change in their professional career,
  • to achieve a greater balance between their personal academic / professional life.

The meetings are held:

  • Monday 10:00 – 13:00
  • Tuesday 10:00 – 13:00
  • Wednesday 10:00 – 13:00
each session lasts 1 hour
live or online

The information services that will be carried out at the Harokopio University’s Career Office, through the “Career Compass” service, concern career guidance services, information / service and guidance for interested students and graduates in career matters such as:

  • the information on the preparation of the student and graduate application file,
  • informing students and graduates about postgraduate studies in Greece and abroad,
  • information on scholarships
  • the update of professional training programs – employment, activities of the OAED
  • information about internship programs in Greece and abroad
  • the information about the jobs offered (private and public sector)
  • information on professional areas, professional rights and professional rehabilitation.
  • Counseling (career planning, career prospects, decision-making techniques, finding and critically reading information).
